A day out with your dog in … Ingoldmells

Dog-friendly day out tips from EverMore pups

Why is Ingoldmells (Lincolnshire coast) a great place to visit with dogs?

It’s very dog-friendly: most pubs, cafes and shops let dogs in and there’s a dog-friendly beach (South Beach) nearby.

Where would you recommend for walks or an outdoor adventure?

Everywhere is mobility scooter-friendly. Our dog Holly loves it as she rides with us. You can even get near the beach on a mobility scooter. Holly loves the beach and does lots of zooming. She also likes going round markets on the scooter with us. Europe’s largest 7-day-a-week market, Fantasy Island Market, which is adjacent to the theme park, allows dogs on leads.

What about dog-friendly cafes, pubs or restaurants?

Oasis is very dog friendly, has entertainment for children and adults (bingo etc) and polite staff. Havanas just across the road, which we rate for the same reasons, and Bibby’s Beach Bar & Grill are also worth a visit.

    How about some dog-friendly accommodations?

There are many pet-friendly holiday parks in the area; we use Julie’s Caravans. The owner is a lovely lady, the site is good, caravans are always spotless and Julie is always there when you want her. You might also try Maple Lodge guest house.
