Lyon arrived with us on Friday 30th of June 2023. The process was so good from the start.  The team was fantastic, so helpful and always happy to answer my many questions. We were kept updated right the way through and part of a group chat for the happy bus that Lyon was on and we had consistent updates through the day he was due to arrive. When he did arrive the drivers of the bus were so lovely and it was obvious how much they care for the dogs. The journey is so long and the dedication of those who make the journey to get the dogs to they’re forever homes is utterly remarkable. We have just adopted Bertie from EverMore Dog Rescue. Everyone is very helpful and friendly, and happy to answer any questions and give advice. Was kept informed of everything all through the adoption process, and the team are there for support after the dog arrives too. We were kept informed of Bertie’s journey from Romania to the U.K., and he was brought to our home which was fantastic. We were given a time that he would arrive which was really helpful. From the moment I enquired about adopting, EverMore have been fantastic, so approachable and helpful. The application process was straightforward, and they kept me up to date all the time. While the dogs were travelling, the rescue set up a group chat for regular updates as the travel date approached and as they travelled through Europe, so we knew where they were and when they’d arrive. Lily (previously Mia) arrived at our house early yesterday morning. She is beautiful and we are delighted. The whole adoption process was handled professionally and efficiently with all our questions answered and lots of advice and info given. When all the dogs left Romania, we were kept informed of their progress and location every step of the way. The van was right on time and the drivers were friendly and polite. EverMore arranged for all Lily’s vaccinations and health checks as well as her travel passport. I know that if I need further advice, they’ll be right there to support me. I would thoroughly recommend EverMore Dog Rescue. It’s been an incredibly difficult year for rescue organisations, and for the individual rescuers supported by EverMore. The work that they do is truly wonderful and the care they take with each dog…. despite the huge numbers they are dealing with, is incredible. From my first contact with the rescue in March this year, throughout the disappointment of the long months waiting for the DEFRA ban to be lifted, Marilyn has kept us informed and updated with events, as well as sending pictures of our rescue to be. We just received our little fur boy last night and he is amazing! After losing our last dog  in April we knew we had to have another dog in our family. Pickle’s little face appeared on their FB page and I knew he was the one we were looking for. The whole process was so simple and before we knew it we had been selected to have him! Have recently adopted a young dog through EverMore Dog Rescue. They were recommended by a neighbour, who has also adopted through them, and were highly recommended. The adoption process was very straightforward, incredibly well organised, with an emphasis on the welfare and safety of the dogs. As an adopter you are provided with advice, support and guidance from their team before and during the adoption process, as well as up to the minute updates on your dog’s progress when they travel to the UK to their new homes.
