Why did you adopt a Romanian dog via EverMore?
We lost our dog of 18.5 years in lockdown and hated not having a dog. We tried many UK-focused rescues but didn’t have much luck. A friend told us about Romanian rescues, so we started looking. Then fell in love with Opal and her sisters.
How has your dog settled into life in the UK?
Opal was scared of her own reflection at first. But she soon gained confidence. The only ‘bad’ thing she did initially was chewing the dining chair legs [but that’s stopped]. She really enjoys hiking, walks on our local beaches and playing with her buddies at the dog park.
What would be your dog’s idea of a perfect day?
Opal loves going out on an adventure in our camper van. She would hang her head out the window getting all the country smells. And eat lots of cheese.
